Books

Codices (mostly) in which the physical book, its construction and use are presented as THE text, either through alteration of, and additions to existing books, or the making of new books where unfolding pages, binding and gathering of papers are THE textual experiences, pointing to any, or all, supporting codices as ideological substructures.

Objects

Solid things ranging from small and hand-held pieces to domestic furniture; the small objects to be played with, the intermediate sculptural objects to be looked at, and the large objects to be used, but in the context of extended functionality, this excess pulling furniture out of its conventional background into meditative sculpture.

Architecture

The conventional products of professional architectural practice – texts, models, and drawings (which must be read in combination) – used to propose spatial images of existential, historical or philosophical versions of MEMORY, particularly related to post WW2 conditions of exile in Australia, these images all buildable, but not intended to be so.
